Brick Installation

Brick is one of the longest-lasting materials on a home, but only when it is laid correctly. Straight courses, consistent joints, proper flashing and weep holes, and a good brick-to-mortar color match are what separate a wall that lasts from one that fails.

We install brick veneer for additions and renovations, freestanding walls, planters, steps and more. In Nashville, where so many homes are brick, matching color, size and bond pattern to what is already there is a big part of the job.

Common questions about brick installation

What is the difference between brick veneer and solid brick?

Veneer is a single layer of brick tied to a structural wall behind it. Solid or multi-wythe brick is structural in itself. Most modern homes use veneer.

How do you match mortar color?

We make test samples and compare them to the existing wall once they cure, because wet and dry mortar look different.

How long does a brick project take?

It depends on size and weather. We give you a clear schedule when we plan the job.
