Chimneys & Fireplaces

A sound flue liner is the safety layer inside your chimney

Cracked clay tiles and missing liners let heat and gases reach the brick and the house. Stainless relining restores a safe path.

Chimney Flue Liners

The liner is the inner pipe that carries smoke and gases out of the house and protects the masonry around it. Cracked or missing clay tiles are a safety concern, and an old or oversized flue can also perform poorly.

We install insulated stainless steel liners sized to your appliance and repair or replace damaged clay flue tiles where appropriate. Many older Nashville homes have chimneys that were never lined or have liners that have cracked with age, and relining can make a fireplace safer and more efficient.

Modern codes and safety standards call for liners. Older chimneys without one should be inspected.

Who inspects the flue?

A certified chimney inspector can examine it. We coordinate with inspectors and perform the masonry work.
