Natural Stone Installation

Natural stone has a character that man-made materials cannot match. Every piece is different, so installation is part craft and part puzzle: choosing, shaping and fitting stones so the joints, color and texture flow.

Tennessee limestone and Cumberland sandstone are local favorites. We help you choose a stone, source it, and set it with the right base and mortar. Around Nashville, natural stone is popular for home facades, chimneys, entry walls and landscape walls.

FAQ

Common questions about natural stone installation

What is the difference between natural stone and veneer?

Full-thickness stone is cut and set as structural or semi-structural masonry. Thin veneer is a lighter product adhered to a wall. Both can look great, and we explain which suits your project.

Is natural stone hard to maintain?

Generally no. Stone is durable, and a gentle cleaning and the occasional repointing keep it looking good.

Can you use stone from my property?

Sometimes, if it is suitable. We can assess whether it is a good fit.
